An Intimate Evening with Landyn Hutchinson
This past December we had the privilege of catering Landyn’s Favorite Things Annual Party. It was an intimate evening of holiday giving with Landyn and her guests. Together they raised more than $95,000 for Make-a-Wish.
Landyn Hutchinson, of Living with Landyn, gathered with fifty-two guests for an evening of holiday festivities, cocktails, and of course a memorable dinner.
Creating a Landyn Wonderland
The event took place at Ozari in L&L Market. Quest Events (drapery), Bright Event Productions (lighting and production), Mayker Events (soft seating, bar, dining tables and chairs), and Curated Events (table top and barware) combined their forces to create a magical Landyn Wonderland.
The setting was not complete without Geny’s Flowers, who provided live trees and wreaths. Cristin of Mint Tulip teamed up with Geny’s to design floral arrangements for the tablescape and cocktail tables.
A Cozy Cocktail Hour
Upon entering this Landyn Wonderland, a gorgeous seating chart display designed by Magari Events greeted guests. Magari Events also created the photo back drop and bar signs.
Our team put together a seasonal menu of appetizers and craft cocktails, including Butternut Prosciutto Skewers, Wild Mushrooms Toast, and Spiced Lamb Meatballs. Drinks included The Landyn Shimmy and wine.
Guests sipped and mingled to holiday tunes provided by Brandon Kadish, Nicolle Galyon, and Stephanie Champman.
A Holiday Dinner to Remember
The table was set to perfection with acrylic star napkin holders created by Laura Beth from SWAG. Each guest received a surprise gift at their seat to kick off an evening of giving. The first gift each guest received was a CO2 Mask from CO2 Lift. More gifts were handed out to each guest throughout the next two hours.
For dinner, we gave each guest the option of a Braided Brisket, Roasted Market Fish, or a Cauliflower Steak, along with a salad and dessert.
Prior to this event, Landyn asked each attendee to fill out a form where she could gather important information for gift-giving, including their sizes, favorite foods, and if they had a wish they would like to make. Landyn read about a woman who’s son was on the wait list for Make-a-Wish. He wanted to either go to Disney or cook with a professional chef in a commercial kitchen. Landyn called Guy Fieri, and he recorded a video for the family, asking the boy to come cook with him in Los Angeles.
The After Party
As a final gift, Elizabeth from E. Allen donated PJ’s for all of the guests to wear at the after party. The after party involved lots of dancing, photo booth fun in the Music City 360 Photo Booth, pizza from Hometeam Pizza, and candied apples from Alice & Ann.
Music was provided throughout the evening by DJ Michelle Pesce.
